there should also be insurance protections. state farm just jacked up my hone insurance by $200.USD s month. for no reasons other than profit. and they shut down almosy 80 thousand insurance policy's gor profit reasons.

I was told that the PMI wouldn’t come off until you pay 80% of your home off or refinance or if your looking to buy as a 1st time home buyer you should put 20% down. I’m 26 I bought my home for almost 300,000 the PMI sucks because when it comes to my escrow and my insurance and PMI the PMI screws me over smh
How can I speak to someone on your team?
I only just found out about supplemental taxes when I received the bill in the mail last week. 🫠 just when I thought I was caught up on finances.
Looked into these and they seem like a ripoff. The GSFA one has up to 1.5% "gift" funds but you pay higher interest rate. Kind of like reverse points. The 3.5% DPA would be fine if it wasnt for the fact that now the lender can charge 2.5% of the first loan amount as an origination fee. Most regular loans are only 1% where I'm at so this is 1.5% extra you are spending for this. When it was all said and done, my cash to close wasnt much better than going regular FHA but my monthly payment was way worse.

If I want a loan, *I* seek it out. *I* go to the loan officer. *I* go to a bank or credit union. ...wtf about this job should be comission-based?? ...What do they imagine is going to happen? I go to my bank and say, no I don't like their personality, I want to talk to your coworker Instead who gives me the exact same information and "earns" my comission????
Thank you for this! Can you elaborate on the new construction part? We bought a new build home last March and got a supplemental tax bill for new construction and just got two more for the ownership change event AND the assessment was lower than the first, but still getting charged. So confusing.

Is the equity based on full value of the property? or the loan value. i.e. my loan is 400K but the property is 600K which one would be the basis of the equity for PMI? Thanks, great video!
The Cap for the loan is the lesser of 20% of the purchase price or $150.000. So the cap is $150.000.

I couldn't get a 50k home with 10k down. The bank said i didn't have the credit (long term loans). So on advice from a financial friend they told me to buy a vehicle asap. So i did, i got a 50k vehicle with no issue😂 worst and best decision I've ever made! But what baffled me was, the bank wasn't willing to lend me money for a house but they handed me a loan via phone for a vehicle within a matter of minutes.. what's up with that?

I’m a 100% disabled Iraq war veteran I did the tax exemption my house closed. 7/22/22 the exemption kicked in December 2023 the extra taxes I was paying they put it into my escrow account the amount was 5K they paid the supplemental taxes with the money I was going to buy a water softener nope 👎

What about transferring title to a child? So not just adding them to title but actually removing yourself from title and transferring title in the child’s name. Would that trigger a reassessment?
